He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Greg has completed many appraisals for lenders, attorneys and private individuals for financing, estates, tax appeal and foreclosures as well as for decision making purposes. He has valued many properties for right of way acquisition including both the condemning authority and the property owners. Greg has also provided appraisals for the Department of Natural Resources following the requirements for the Knowles Stewardship Grant program.
For many years, Greg has specialized in the valuation of multi-family projects from 4 units to 400 hundred units, both existing and proposed construction, throughout Northeast Wisconsin. He has developed an extensive data base with regard to both rental and sales comparables and completes appraisals in both form and narrative formats.
The multi-family market served covers about a 75-100 mile radius extending from Green Bay to Marinette, Door County, Kewaunee County, Manitowoc County, Sheboygan County, the entire Fox Cities, Fond du Lac County, Shawano County, Waupaca County, Oconto County, Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids. In addition, Greg completes appraisals on commercial and industrial properties as well as vacant land, residential subdivisions and condominium projects.

Since joining Vogels Buckman in 1995, John values primarily non-residential properties including vacant land, office buildings, retail properties and strip malls/shopping centers of all sizes, national franchise operations and automobile dealerships. For several years, John has specialized in the appraisal of Convenience Stores. Industrial properties appraised include manufacturing facilities and warehousing, both large and small. The area served is generally south of Marinette, north of Fond du Lac, west of the Lake Michigan Shore and east of Wausau. Projects beyond this area are considered on an individual basis.

Patti Hoppe started with Vogels Buckman in 1995 and definitely is an asset in keeping our business running. She is the Office Manager and is the only staff person. Patti handles all of our bookkeeping and works closely with the appraisers in compiling their finished appraisal reports. She is proficient in Word and Quick Books.
Our Commercial Data Base is Patti's responsibility and she is adding to it on a daily basis. Whatever needs to be done in the office, you will find Patti pitching in.

Mary is a Wisconsin Certified General Appraiser and holds the SRA, Senior Residential Appraiser, designation from the Appraisal Institute. She became an appraiser in 1980 and was the first woman real estate appraiser within the Green Bay area.
In 1989, Mary and Richard Vogels, MAI started Vogels Buckman Appraisal Group, Inc. with Richard as President and Mary as Vice-President. In December of 2011, Mary acquired full ownership of the firm and is now the President. Richard has since retired and is living in Florida.
With over 38 years of experience, Mary has completed appraisals on all types of properties including residential, multi-family, light industrial and commercial, both existing and proposed. She has completed appraisals of residential subdivisions utilizing discounted cash flow analysis, in Brown County as well as Oconto, Door, Outagamie, Calumet and Winnebago Counties. In addition, she completes appraisals for Conservation Easements for both the property owner (non-cash charitable contribution for IRS purposes) and various conservation groups such as the Door County Land Trust, the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust, The Nature Conservancy and The Ridges Sanctuary. In 2007, she completed the week long course called Valuation of Conservation Easements in Denver, Colorado. Mary Linssen-Benson is a Certified Residential Appraiser and has been with Vogels Buckman from the start of the company in 1989 except for a 5 year period from 1995 to 2000 when she was a Franchise Owner for the Decorating Den. She returned to Vogels Buckman in the year 2000 and is now the Residential Appraiser in our office. She was certified by the State of Wisconsin in 1992 and has completed many courses and seminars through the years to adhere to the continuing education required by the State. Mary had been actively involved with the Brown County Home Builders Association and the BCHBA Women's Auxiliary.
She has completed appraisals for various clients including lenders for financing and foreclosures, however, recently does only residential appraisals for attorneys and relocation companies (utilizing the ERC form) and individuals for sale purposes and estates.
